10 Halloween Crafts for Toddlers and Preschoolers

Halloween is here and once again I’m late with my crafts. So I am on the hunt for simple crafts that we can do that don’t take much time setup. Problem is, I only have about $10 in my pocket and I have to make it do what it do.

Last year I only shopped my local Dollar General, this year I hit up Walmart. (Some of the items there are cheaper and I was already going in there. )

My two-year-old is focusing a lot on cutting, so there’s more than a few of these that involve cutting. Also, I have given you my shopping list. Yup, these are the supplies that I brought. I am going to assume you have some of the basics. (you should if you come to this blog)

Halloween Crafts for toddlers and preschoolers

Making these Foam Jack-o-Lanterns will keep your kids busy

These Cutting Skill Pumpkins are super cute. I would hang these from the ceiling of my kids room.

These Paper Plate Bats look fun to make.

Your child will have fun making these cute and simple Mummies

This Spider is so easy to make but she shares how to make it even easier.

Have fun practicing cutting skills with this Mummy Paper Chain

I really like how easy on the pocket it is to make all three of these Ghosts

Guess what these Day of the Dead Skulls are made from?

If your child knows how to tie knots then they will have fun making these Tissue Paper Ghosts.

This cute and simple Pom Pom Spider will look nice in a window.

Shopping list:

Construction paper
Pom Poms (.88 in  Walmarts craft section)
Fasteners (Walmart)
Paper plates
Gauze
Sponge Brushes
Foam pumpkins

You can get Crayola Paint but if you want to stay in the $10 budget you can substitute it for acrylic paint. I usually use the .50 bottles from Walmart for my girls.
