Spring Time Yellow Sensory Bin
Well it’s a new month, so for my girls that means that we get to explore a new color. Last month we explored the color Green and this month we are exploring the color Yellow. So I am going to share one of my easy sensory bin recipes by theme with you all today. This sensory bin was fun for my toddler.

She did a lot of scooping, pouring, counting ( my proud moment), hide n seek, and much more was done with this bin. She had her hand in the creation of this bin. I am finding that she really enjoys helping put together a bin for her sisters and herself to play with.
This was pretty easy to put together with my toddlers help. She chose to add the colored beans and I chose to use the yellow squares and balls. The rest of the bin my toddler found the items to go inside. This helped her to find the different hues of yellow and I was surprised and happy that she was having little to no difficulty with this.
- Small bin
- Rainbow dyed beans (Click here)
- Yellow Squares (Amazon affiliate)
- Yellow balls (Amazon affiliate)
- Yellow flowers (Amazon affiliate)
- Yellow plastic Easter egg (Amazon affiliate)
- Yellow Spoon
- Yellow Bowl
- Pour the dyed beans in the small bin
- Add yellow squares and balls, mix
- Add the plastic Easter egg, spoon, bowl
Now my toddler added the yellow plastic flowers after looking in a drawer where I had them put up and forgotten all about. She thought they were cute and were perfect for spring. She enjoyed counting the flowers and sorting them in to matching piles. Which gave me an idea for another project.
Well guys that’s all for today. I hope that you enjoyed this post. I will be linking this post up at TOTS SCHOOL like I have been with all of my easy sensory bin recipes by theme posts.
