So summer is here and with my family that means lots of cooking outside. Last year I spent a lot of money on fire starters because I don’t do lighter fluid. This year I was not spending a dime out of my pocket for fire starters. So I thought about it and after reading the box of an old starter I pretty much had a knock off in mind and it would require my kids help.

Hey guys! It’s Friday and that means it’s time for another Frugal Friday Tip. Lately with the holidays around we have been using a lot of paint and making patterns with the DIY Stamps that I made previously. After pouring paint on a sponge to stamp with it, dawned on me.

I made this stamp pad for when my girls want to stamp with paint, but I just don’t want the big paint mess that they make. It’s really easy to make and it actually lasts a little bit of time.
